Vision Bangladesh Health & Education Society organized a free eye care program on the 16th of December 2024 with the support of its partner organization Bagerhat Eye Hospital in Bagerhat Sadar on the occasion of the great Victory Day of Bangladesh. The purpose was to ensure eyesight for all and thus to support the poor and marginalized people of the community free of cost. The support covered consultation, eye check, giving medicine and glasses as required. It also suggested the patients who would require cataract operations. With the enthusiastic participation of the people and the appreciative care of the Bagerhat Eye Hospital team, the event was a successful one where near about 300 people had the opportunity to receive support.
